sorry if this is a very redundant question, but when did you realize photography was what you wanted to do? and why/what caused this revelation? sorry if this sounds hokey

To be honest, it’s not really something I planned or pursued. It’s always been a hobby of mine and I still consider it a hobby. Once you call something your “job” you’ll grow tired of it and lose your passion. I’m still confused as to why people pay me to do something I love to do.
But to answer your question, a friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding. I had no formal training and up until then I had only photographed shows and abandoned buildings. My friend had enough faith in me to trust me with her wedding photos, so I went with it and I haven’t looked back since. It was a life changing experience and I’m very lucky to still be doing this.
